Just copy over this fixed file and relink your shortcuts to point directly to it. Remember to set up and graphics config in the GameSetup.exe application first though.

*Note: This DOES NOT circumvent the xlive game key check which you get at the main menu (when it asks you to login with a profile). So if you do not have a valid key you will be able to play without the disc, BUT without the ability to (auto)save.
